ETHIOPIAN HOSPITAL:
The parish has adopted a teaching hospital, St.Luke’s, Wolisso, in Ethiopia. Various fund-raising events are arranged throughout the year. Ideas for events are always welcome. This interest was piloted by the late Dr. John O’Neil and it now continues under the auspices of his son, Dr. Patrick O'Neil.

PHOTOGRAPHY OF PARISH EVENTS:
Bernard Metcalfe acts as our "Parish Photographer". He provides photographs of most of our parish "occasions" and then, usually, displays them at the back of the church.
ASSOC. FOR THE PROPAGATION OF THE FAITH:
Many parishioners hold collection boxes for this cause. Ken Binks (St.Francis') & Pat Ward (St.Clare's) are the parishioners who organise the distribution and collection of the boxes.
PARISH FINANCES:
Our Finance committee is chaired by Monsignor Gerard Robinson, who is assisted by Dave Akerman, Dave acts as parish treasurer and provides Monsignor Robinson with continuous support. He is always happy to answer any questions you may have about the parish finances.
CHILD PROTECTION MATTER:
St Francis is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk and the parish follows diocesan guidlines in these matters. As part of this commitment, we aim to have three Safeguarding Representatives performing this vital role: Francis Flood, Marie Mead and John Bacon.
